A Bachelorette Party or Pin-Up Party is a way for gals to pull some of their friends together and all take turns getting hair and make-up done and then rotating in for their boudoir mini photo sessions.
The Bachelorette is named the "hostess" and her duties include inviting her friends to the bachelorette boudoir party, giving them info, and confirming their bookings. For doing all the organizing the hostess gets her bachelorette  party, also known as the pin-up party session, free as a gift from The Boudoir Divas

Who are The Boudoir Divas?

The Boudoir Divas are are Marissa Boucher and Kimberlee West and own the boudoir photography studio in San Diego studio named, The Boudoir Divas San Diego. Marissa Boucher and Kimberlee West lead boudoir photography workshops everywhere. They hold the boudoir workshops in their boudoir studio in San Diego and also hold boudoir workshops during WPPI in Las Vegas. Their favorite boudoir workshop is in Paris France. The boudoir photo shoot itself is total blast. Sure you will be nervous at first, everyone is. Our San Diego boudoir studio is set-up with multiple boudoir sets to choose from and our boudoir lighting is the most flattering studio lighting we have come across. We have a boudoir lingerie dressing room with corsets and accessories to choose from. The boudoir photo session last 1-2 housrs depending on the boudoir package that you decide on.

What is boudoir photography (sometimes misspelled as "boudior" or "budwoir")?

Some of you may wonder what boudoir photography is? Wikipedia says (which we actually wrote so I don't know if it is fair but still, if you are still reading you are interested in boudoir...."A great deal of "boudoir" is now created in the photographer's studio, where it has become very fashionable to create a set of sensual images for ladies of all ages, shapes, and sizes in the "boudoir style". This often takes the shape of partly clothed images or images in lingerie, and has become more than just a passing fad for brides to surprise their future husbands. Although in the past there were many negative connotations associated with boudoir photography, in recent years the trend has begun to gain momentum, and the entire look of boudoir photography has begun to change."

If you have decided that you would like to have a  boudoir photography session, you will probably have plenty of questions.  One of the most frequently asked questions we hear when it comes to boudoir photography is: 'What should I expect from my photo shoot?" and "How should I prepare for my boudoir session?  While every boudoir photographer is unique, and each boudoir photography studio offers different services, in general, here are some helpful hints to show you how to prepare for your boudoir shoot. Once you have found your perfect boudoir photographer, you will no doubt be a little nervous about your photo shoot.  Most women feel a little trepidation when they are thinking about their boudoir session, because this is something that is completely out of their comfort zone.  *NOTE: Please check with your individual boudoir photographer before your photo shoot to see if they have any specific tips for you.  This list of boudoir tips is not exhaustive, but rather a commentary to help you get started thinking about your boudoir shoot! 

"What should I wear for my boudoir shoot?" 
When it comes to your boudoir photo shoot, there are limitless options for your clothing and outfit choices.  Many women like to wear sexy, provocative lingerie such as corsets, teddies, and fishnet stockings.  Above all, you should wear something that you feel comfortable in!  If you are looking for sexy lingerie, we suggest looking at some of our favorite lingerie retailers, such as: Victoria's Secret, Fredrick's of Hollywood, or Lingerie Diva.  There are also several high-fashion lingerie designers, such as: Agent Provocateur, ----, and ---.  It's also helpful to note that it is not necessary to wear lingerie for your boudoir session.  A lot of women wear sexy, edgy outfits that resemble an outfit that would be styled for a fashion editorial spread in a magazine like Vogue or "W" Magazine. 

"What about hair and makeup?" 
Once you have found your perfect boudoir photographer, you will no doubt be a little nervous about your photo shoot.  Most women feel a little trepidation when they are thinking about their boudoir session, because this is something that is completely out of their comfort zone.
